Making vegetable smoothies

vegetable smoothies 1 Kale, 1 Cup of fresh blueberries, 1/2 Ripe avocado, 1 cup of spinach, 1 banana, a few drop of lemon juice, 1 cup of ice. Mix everythingin a blender. Add salt/pepper to your taste.

We are a young family of four living in Brooklyn, NY. Lately we have been eating very healthy and my (Kindergarten aged) daughter Kamila has been joining me in the kitchen. We enjoy this time because during really busy days it is a few moments to slow down and really be with each other. We talk, we laugh, we joke, we share secrets, and even experiment with new recipes.
Our favorite recently has been fruit and vegetable smoothies.
You will need:
1 Cup of fresh blueberries,
1/2 Ripe avocado,
1 cup of spinach,
a few drop of lemon juice,
1 cup of ice.
Mix everything in a blender. Add salt/pepper to your taste.
Sometimes to make it even more fun we turn it into a contest. We each pick out different ingredients, make our own smoothies, and have my husband decide which one tastes better. I must admit she's gotten pretty good at this and has already won the contest several times.
